We offer Value-add services for food-stuff raw material products that are related to spices, herbs, and seeds in various food industries.
We also service the cosmetics and medicinal/herbal industries requiring further processing of raw material. Our services are underscored by the adherence to European standards and the pursuit of 99.99% purity post product cleaning, and a minimum 5 logs effective microorganism kill, after sterilization. This is aligned with our commitment to food safety as outlined in European regulations. We also offer secured and quality controlled on-site storage; pre and post processing. Our customers can also take advantage of our 40 years experience in importing, custom clearance and logistics; providing a truly carefree One-Stop-Shop service.

ÖLV works closely with customers to ensure the required capacity for cleaning and Sterilisation is met and on time. Our processing meets certified Quality and food safety requirements.
Geographically speaking, we are approximately 55km west of Vienna. The facility is well located next to the Port of Krems, one of the Austria´s Danube River ports in Europe. In general, Austria is well known for its Central European location with accessibility to all orientational directions to the rest of the continent.
The new self-managed facility is established after more than 40 years’ experience in the spices/herbs and bakery seeds industries, leadership and know-how in product origin sourcing and liaison. This enables us to offer customers fully-fledged and ideal one-stop-shop service for the food processing industry.
Established with highly experienced management and staff, ÖLV will provide the following areas of business:
Steam sterilisation, packing facilities, cleaning facilities, quality control laboratory-an on-site facility which will be regularly developed to include experienced laboratory technicians and new analysis technologies.
We plan to complete our suit of services within the next 4 years to include, grinding, packing up to 1000kg, mixing, and logistical services. Customers have access to our following services from June 2024, which may be offered separately or in conjunction with other services:
Steam Sterilisation
Using our 100% Natural Bio Steam with no Chemicals or Radiation system. Products are handled and processed in accordance with the needs, requirements, and specifications of the customer, safeguarding the integrity of the product and its intrinsic values, as well as the stringent quality control to help achieve required Micro-biological reduction.
Grinding | Milling
This service will be available in the second stage of facility development starting in approximately 2028.
Packing | Re-packing
We have several modern bulk packaging and repackaging options treating big bags and sacks. To prevent cross-contamination, additional packing facilities are also available in the last stage of production, where the items may be packaged in Big Bags and sacks according to our customer’s requirements.A variety of bag types and re-labelling are possible on request. Packing is possible up to 1000kg. Additionally, we provide flexible packaging post sterilisation in a Hygienically controlled area.
Cleaning
An integral part of the process that helps achieve 99.99% purity. Products are carefully cleaned from any foreign substances using the most recent technology, including several degrees of sorting, separation, and a series of infrared cameras and metal detectors. The facility can also provide additional treatments to certain grains and seeds.
Storage
Storage facility is available in our newly built warehouse for agreed periods before and after processing. Alternatively, the customers may arrange for the collection of the goods immediately after treatment by their forwarders. As an integral part of this service, we will also control documents on product arrival, as well as providing sensoric and other quality control analysis.
Mixing
This is also a second stage development to complete our value-add suit of services starting in approximately 2028.
